The sheriff’s department is often the first agency that comes to mind when people consider launching an arrest warrant search in Park County, MT. However, applicants can also go to the judiciary to find arrest records. This little bit of information will bade most to question as to how the courts and the office of the county clerk come about to have information on active warrants and arrests. So, here is a look at how crime history data is maintained within the justice network.

It should be understood that although it is the police who serve arrest warrants and other judicial orders, they do not issue these. The courts are in charge of sanctioning all warrants, whether they are required to search and confiscate property or to seize a person. Hence, along with the sheriff’s office, the tribunal that issues the active warrants in Park County will also have information on them.

A third justice department, the office of the county clerk which has the job of keeping the court dockets, will also hold details on the issue of active warrants and the eventual trial. As far as arrest records from Park County are concerned, information on these is relayed to the judiciary by the police.

It is the cops who take the offenders into custody and hold them while the court prepares to hear their bail petition So, the sheriff’s office is the only entity that has information on arrests as well as on the detainee, such as the fingerprints and the booking mug shots of the accused.

When an outstanding warrant is served, information on this issent to the judiciary by returning the original order to them. So, you can connect with any of the three agencies mentioned here for your warrant search. All of them work out of 414 E Callender St, Livingston, MT 59047. You can even write to the police at PO Box 443 at the same address to get your inquiry underway.
